Your chance to go to Bali, or a Hamilton Island Cruise Were your drunk at the Shutzenfest, Festival of Food Maybe you forgot your gave your number and your name Now just watch me close the sale CHORUS How did I get your number, how do I know your name? Did you miss the small print, were you carried away? How did I get your number, how do I know your name? Telemarketer stakes her claim Coax your credit card number when I recite the script Too late to cancel now your 3000 dollar trip Caught up in the moment no consulting with the wife 2 grand Gold Coast stop off to add to the surprise The only work in this town, weekends and nights Hard backed chairs packed in cubicles tight When I’ve got rent and power bills overdue You got disposable income, I’m happy to screw you

Cutting edge youth culture, this old rocker was the one Does the outsider have the street cred? Is youth culture just for the young Leather jacket, stove pipe jeans, Mum and Dad were so ashamed All these years later kids disown me just the same Step up, step it up all you youngsters The generation gap The generation gap Bring it on, bring it back! Such a lack of respect/look at the youth of today They don’t care about electric guitar/let alone how to play Bang out distorted chords/stream your own DJ I wanna score party pills too/scroll down the groupchat page CHORUS I love it when the young folk/step up call me dude Makes an ol’ fella/feel included All my friends are fat and content/poor things! I envy that At least they’re happy/I’m just fat My father served in both world wars/for liberty and nation I fought in turn for a voice/ against that whole damn generation The young now have the power/how could I object? I’m gonna rebel against the kids/like they’re my parents all over again
